You know how fucked the times are, when You are surprised it's The Onion. The article is still funny.
Yeah, I kept thinking, "Wait, wasn't this a real news story?" Apparently it was the Onion all along.
I personally believe it is true and the footage will be released soon
Truth in 2025 is whatever your heart desires.
It was, quite frankly, so believable that I too nearly missed that it was the Onion. I think we are at peak Poe's Law.

give it a week or two and some actual footage from back then gets out that makes this onion true.
I saw the community in which it was posted, but assumed this was a real article in the wrong community.
