Reading... reading ... reading ... reading ... OK there it is: "the holocaust didn't happen".
Why are they always antisemites/racists/neo nazis on top of some weird but quite harmless theory?
Funny you should ask
I have put a lot of thinking into it and I think it works like this:
Flat Earth is such an absolutely ridiculous theory that the only possible people that would fall victim to it are either the ones with:
"conspiratorial/contrarian thinking SO high that it overrides all reason" OR "absolutely NO reasoning ability at all"
So in this case, they either deliberately eat all this stuff up to say "shove it" to the man OR they are swindled by any kind of convenient belief because they lack the tooling to understand why it's incorrect.
The reason it overlaps with Nazism because if you are white, it's a very comforting lie to believe you are part of the Master Race, and again, you're either being a contrarian OR you use your lack of reasoning skills to place yourself as one of the proud Master Race members.
One of the reasons I feel uncomfortable with the flat earthers is their lack of reasoning makes them EXTREMELY susceptible to all manner of scammer and grifters. I deliberately avoid this type of people as this type of behavior makes them very "unlucky" as they are always falling for one scam other another, like joining a cult, being scammed by MLM, getting scammed by someone over the phone, etc.
