I was super bummed when it reached EOL. I wish they would let folks host their own servers for it.

A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Hell Let Loose is definitely worth the try if you're looking for a squad based WW2 shooter. Doesn't have the destructible environments of battlefield but it's super fun and requires a lot more tactical forethought than a lot of shooters I've played.
It definitely has a bigger learning curve than BF. The game really forces you to collaborate with your squad, move as a soldier would, and consider your routes through the map. Game has a great community though and I've found people are usually more than willing to show newbies the ropes.
