next you will call me a russian bot, you seem to be so fond of the liberal rhetoric. you can't claim to be championing a cause for society's lowest while participating in hegemonic behavior that directly causes their continued exclusion from all parts of life, unless it is not a part of your itinerary to begin with. engels called this social murder, and it's what you do when you excuse this behavior. you hold contradictory ideas about covid risk, disability and working class organization and you do not want to reckon with them. does mao not tell us to ruthlessly criticize and correct incorrect behavior in our cadre? I see a whole lot of it in my time organizing in real life and am subject to plenty of bleating with similar tone to yours online. covid action (or inaction, as it were) is a working class matter, and it is a dire mistake to think and act otherwise, fundamental even. these are simple questions. why don't you answer them?

It isn’t bait. I believe her point is that it’s easy for communists to claim to be against eugenics and ableism, but in practice many of us are failing to live up to our claims. The Covid pandemic and masking is brought up because it is a major example of this. It is an enormous threat particularly to disabled people, and yet in practice most of the left is, by virtue of their actions, siding with the ableists and the eugenicists. DeadlyBunny was revealing this as well, it’s all well and good if we say we are against ableism, but if we are using ableist language, then it shows a lack of solidarity that puts off the disabled people we should be working with. If we talk the talk, we gotta walk the walk, you know?
And sure, maybe they should have reported those comments, but I mean, any of us could have and apparently none of us did. And rather than accept their accurate criticism of our behavior and reflect, they were spammed with downvotes and their criticisms were deflected. What does that say to our would-be disabled comrades? From my view, it says “shut up and get in line.” Who would stand side by side with people like that?
It’s bait because she got into a massive argument several months ago, and now are trying to reignite old grievances because she felt “bad” that people didn't take them taken seriously in that argument and that people didn’t agree with her point of view.

I was there for that massive argument, and it was not how you are making it out to be. It wasn't just her who was aggrieved by the Covid denialism festering in this community, several of us called it out for what it is, ableism. The same topic on discussion here. In fact, many of the anti-masking comments then were removed after a while, so clearly she was "taken seriously" and the consensus wasn't so one-sided as you imply. In any case it's not really relevant. You are seeing a disabled person talk about ableism among people who should be her comrades, in a thread about ableism from communists, using the most clear and obvious example of ableism and eugenicist behavior by communists. And your response is to paint her as an overly-emotional troll and accuse her of virtue signaling? To ignore what people are saying and deflect? To call other users who point out your personal ableist language sockpuppets? You are actively showing why these comments are made to begin with, why people have reached such a level of frustration. You are part of the problem that turns a community that should be clearly hostile towards ableism instead into spaces that are clearly hostile towards disabled people.
English is not my first language. My original language has a true neutral pronoun applicable to all and the correct usage of they still confuses me when I type in English. I'm sorry for that.
A user with a fresh account made yesterday, no bio, only has one comment, and has zero other interactions is a sock puppet. I'm sorry, there is no other way to label that account. There is zero chance it was made in good faith. No normal account makes one targeted comment and then vanishes.

I am not. I admit I am getting frustrated, but I responded to you because you specifically were being ableist. I replied to you because I hoped you might reflect on how your behavior is making a hostile environment for disabled people.
I understand your grievances, but ganging up on someone and unloading isn’t going to make anyone reflect. It’ll make them feel cornered and defensive especially when the opener is insulting the person for existing. That doesn’t create an hostile environment? Also when you carefully avoid questions that aren’t useful in making your point. Such as the sock puppet. It’s easy to point to in support of yourself when ganging up on someone, but then you shy away from the fact that it was made in bad faith for the sole purpose of being an attack sock puppet.
Also asking someone what they hope to get out of bringing up a topic which will very likely lead to another argument isn’t ableist. If I told them to shut up, or started engaging in covid denialism then sure that’s horribly ableist. But don’t kid yourself that she didn’t know exactly what she was doing tacking on a comment at the end of a finished comment chain to fish for a fight.
I also enjoy being told that me existing stinks up their precious air when I did absolutely nothing to deserve that. I wear a fucking mask everywhere because SURPRISE, my partner has a congenital defect that makes them immune compromised. But that doesn’t matter to Ivy. She’s just angry with the world and lashing out at any possible target she can. What did I say to deserve being treated like shit in this thread? Why would anyone ever want to reflect after getting dogpiled by people treating them like shit? I’m just tired of the constant shit slinging on the grad. Every other thread has people tearing out each others throats and I’m just tired. That’s why I made the stupid fucking mistake of asking why someone would want more shitslinging.

I have the right to defend myself against those who wish me harm. As someone diagnosed with schizophrenia, is it really that surprising that I would find those ableist comments offensive? I didn't make this account just for my previous comment. I had another account named formydemons in which I posted some write-ups on the Genzedong community, but I deleted it after a while. I planned to do the same kind of post with this account, that's all.
