A place to discuss pro-conservative stuff

  1. Be excellent to each other. Civility, No Racism, No Bigotry, No Slurs, No calls to violences, No namecalling, All that good stuff, follow lemm.ee's rules, follow the rules of your instance, etc.

  2. We are a Pro-Conservative forum. Posts must have a clear pro-conservative, or anti left-wing bias. We are interested in promoting conservatism and discussing things that might get ignored elsewhere. All sources are acceptable, however reputable sources with a reputation for factual reporting are preferred.

  3. Dissent is allowed in the comments, but try to be constructive; if you do not agree, then provide a reason which is backed up by references or a reasonable alternative interpretation of the provided facts. That means the left wing is welcome to state their opinions, but please keep it in good faith.

A polite request, not a rule, if you feel the need to report a comment, please don't reply to it.

MODERATORS

Full disclosure, this was made because my mod actions aren't federated to places I'm banned. This account isn't banned anywhere, so federation shouldn't be a problem.

Goes without saying, this mod account is only going to be used for moderator actions.

(Also, I've created a bug report on github, hopefully this gets fixed soon. https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4409 )

Are you claiming Lemmy is only used in the US and only falls under their laws?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Last I checked, .world is hosted in the US, and doesn't have any actual overseas assets, meaning they're effectively only under us jurisdiction.

Lmao little bitch boy admin didn't like getting called out so he went to moderate shit that isn't even his?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Actually that is a good point. Official warning, civility and namecalling. Just take a breather my dude. It's the internet, don't take it so seriously.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago

Lmao I'm just about the only one here not taking things seriously

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago

FFS Momo. Half the time you're fine, the other half you're like this. Can you at least manage a little decorum?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

This comment breaks several of this community’s rules but I’m sure BlameMeta will issue a warning and/or a ban.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

And bad faith spam is against the rules and you're still here, so it's not like you have room to talk

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Just because you disagree with what I say doesn’t mean I break rules and should be silenced or censored.

I argue my point without name calling or being rude.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I don't give a fuck if you use nice words to peddle your worthless lies

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago

I’ll fight for your right to say what you believe but not being free from the consequences of doing so.

Calling someone you disagree with names is clearly a violation of rule one of this community.

Momo, take it down a notch. My suggestion would be to look up the laws for where loli is legal, and present that.

In any case, please remember the LW admins are the ones paying for the server and as such get to decide what goes on that server, and they are the ones who have to deal with any legal issues. I completely understand having an abundance of caution.

And I get to decide whether they do so in a manner worth respecting, and to voice my thoughts on it.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

True, but there's a time and a place. Maybe there's a rant sub you can try?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago

The time and place seems to be pretty relevant, considering that the shit eater mods from .world are both the subject of the conversation and present in the thread

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sure, but on private property there is 0 right to any form of free speech in any modern jurisdiction, so you cannot expect to be allowed to voice your thoughts in someone else's home. You might get sent away.

Also, in theory you should always be respectful to your fellow humons, even if you disagree. Looking at your post and comment history you clearly do not subscribe to this idea, but eh, that's again your decision to make so long as you do it away from everyone else.

Yeah OK. Doesn't mean I have to make it easy for them.

That would still maintain similar legality. I know a lot of things that host lewd content specifically host there because it's legal to do so.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Well is it Dutch or American?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (2 children)

There would be no legal issues either way so I don't see the point in splitting hairs

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Answering a direct question with the truth isn't 'splitting hairs' you dingus, the countries are separated by a fucking ocean and have extremely dissimilar history and laws.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Except in all relevant regards to the current topic, both are functionally extremely similar. Nobody worth the oxygen they use agrees with your pedantry.

I just don't understand why you have so many downvotes and get mocked outside (and inside) your echo chamber.

Because this statement of yours was completely wrong.
