Humor Can Be Dissected, as a Frog Can, But the Thing Dies in the Process
Frogs are already dead when you dissect them
to be fair, some jokes have already been done to death before people decide they are worth dissecting
Most people watch sitcoms while doing something else, hence why so many had/have laugh tracks. Videos like this highlight why shows like 30 Rock and Arrested Development were critical darlings: the writing was so incredibly good! Unfortunately, you have to pay attention to appreciate good writing.
I think such nuance deserves explaining for folks who miss the genius of it. I liked the video.
