Hurling ordure at the TREACLES, especially those closely related to LessWrong.

AI-Industrial-Complex grift is fine as long as it sufficiently relates to the AI doom from the TREACLES. (Though TechTakes may be more suitable.)

This is sneer club, not debate club. Unless it's amusing debate.

[Especially don't debate the race scientists, if any sneak in - we ban and delete them as unsuitable for the server.]

Okay but I feel like they're more on the Sixpence None the Richer side of Christian rock (the "hey, that song's a catchy bop!" kind where you're surprised when you find out their Christian) and not the really obvious waste-of-guitars kind, like a hair metal band called something like "Ĥe Gëŧz Ǘ§" that only performs drum heavy anthems about communion.

This makes sense to me. I went through a Jars of Clay / Switchfoot phase, but never Stryper.

I have heard a couple of really good episodes of The Dig podcast, which is a Jacobin thing. Notably "The German Question" a couple of weeks ago.

I get this is a damning with faint praise but sometimes when you're looking around in the American leftist press and you find

the people who got Reality Winner sent to prison and who were GG's home for years, and just had layoffs,

and Nathan J Robinson's vanity zine,

and you just desperately are willing to settle for anything, anyone at all.
