The current American government is not actively involved in the bombing and is at least paying lip service to "this is bad and should stop".
Trump is on record saying they should carpet bomb the whole area and be done with it.
This is a lie.
It is, the US could stop Israel today by stopping aid and arms sales. Israel is an American colony.
And the US could make things worse by reducing what limited restrictions exist on how those arms are used. Guess what will happen if Trump becomes president?
