Its not age as much as your weight.
I can always tell when I'm gaining weight because my knees will start hurting.
losing weight (safely) helps a lot! my legs built up strength to carry weight that it no longer has π
Not just weight. Itβs lack of exercise. Iβm 41 and my knees and back are fine even after a stint in the army. Gotta keep using those muscles and joints if you want to use them when youβre older.

Only 27 but I exercise daily and have had no issue except for my wrists which is a hereditary thing from my moms side.
I recently got a balance board and it has really done a number on my ankles, legs, and core strength.
It is insane how degraded your ancillary muscles get from a sedentary lifestyle
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is also a really good full body workout
Full body workout, yes, but also a really good stretch when you want to let the other guy have his fun.
Went to the gym / dojo for the first time in months yesterday
And now i have a bruise on my leg from holding onto lockdown for dear life
One of previous jobs worked me so hard my leg hurts when a storm is coming. This happened in my early 20s
And you are mid twenties now?
My knees and back were significantly damaged by the Army and I got out when I was 21.
My knees are in this comment and they don't like it.
