Columbus is basically Jesus to Amerikkkan “Italians”
He discovered America, that's what he did. He was a brave Italian explorer. And in this Lemmy instance, Christopher Columbus is a hero. End of story.

There was whole sopranos episode over columbus day
And as always, the writers making fun of people who support columbus (dumbshit american italians vs. native italians like furio who hate columbus and northern italy) goes over chuds heads.
The Sopranos is the Simpsons but with deadbeat italian-american men, I don't get how people see it as a crime drama or some anti-woke manosphere crap.
my favorite part of that episode is when Furio, the one Italian man actually from Italy, says "we fuckin hate Columbus" and everyone else gets their feathers ruffled about it
