i don't get why there will be some people will be like "i don't care what trans people do, it doesn't hurt me" but then constantly make fun of them, bully them, make memes about them, and talk about how trans women are men (since i see it with trans women especially). seriously, as a transmasc enby, you don't have to accept ME specifically but i won't talk to you. even though you should accept people, if you don't, at least try to be nice and don't make memes about them and bully them and call them delusional. i feel like i can feel their hateful personalities through the screen, ugh. be polite and show respect.

if i'm expressing myself, for example, why do you have to bring me down? i'm NOT hurting you. and why does it matter their assigned gender at birth? all that matters is how they identify now. respect should not have to be earned (though i believe it can be lost through people who intentionally hurt others, etc.). all people have irreplaceable value and deserve respect.

There could be multiple reasons why they do this.

They are miserable and want others to be too.
They are scared of losing the gender binary because either they won't know what to do with themselves or it benefits them.
They are secretly trans or queer in sone way but cannot admit it.
They have years of trauma and thus this is the only way they know how to interact with others, especially those who are 'different'.
Possibly other reasons but most of those are the basis on which other reasons are born from.

To add to this, for many phobic leaning people they have never actually met a trans person in their lives. The most exposure they have to us is the propaganda they've been fed for years about how we're all either groomers or were ourselves groomed into being trans. The closest a lot of them have come to a real life trans person is a cis woman they've mistakenly labeled as trans in their minds because they find her kind of ugly.

Excellent points! Thanks for adding another reason to it. Sadly it's very accurate that is a reson they tend to dislike us. 😒
