Replacement for r/steamdeck_linux.

As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:
[Flair] My post title

The following is a list of suggested flairs:
[Discussion] - General discussion.
[Help] - A request for help or support.
[News] - News about the deck.
[PSA] - Sharing important information.
[Game] - News / info about a game on the deck.
[Update] - An update to a previous post.
[Meta] - Discussion about this community.

Some more Steam Deck specific flairs:
[Boot Screen] - Custom boot screens/videos.
[Selling] - If you are selling your deck.

These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.

I can't figure out how to create accounts for my kids. They are under 13 and there's a checkbox saying people under 13 can't create an account.

IIRC I'm 5 years older on steam than reality because of this. From my family's first computer onward, I am the parental controls.

Yeah, maybe they should have some sort of 'young child' accounts for children under 13, that are required to be in a family with more restrictions on store access and such.

Thanks to COPPA, American kids under 13 actually have very good protections online. To the point companies like Google and Valve will forego profits so they don't have to comply.

I there are some regulatory hurdles as well, like data collection and ratings board stuff. It would probably take some work to implement those.
