  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Yes, it is effectively a two party system. Until the day that all parties have an opportunity to be treated equally, that will be the case. You know this. Why do you pretend not to?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

The only thing that makes it a two party system is YOUR continued support of the same party over and over again.

That's on you bud, not on me.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yes, it's on me and hundreds of millions of people. Most of which are unreachable with your canvassing and a huge percentage of which are needed to make any positive difference whatsoever.

Unfortunately for you, empowering trump and Israel is on you, because you can easily see that your actions empower them. It doesn't take a soothsayer to know that Stein will get way less than 2% of the vote, 2% that will help trump but gives her zero chance of winning.

You won't move the needle toward third parties but you will be responsible for death and suffering, and then you'll say it was not your fault even though you did something you knew would lead to death and destruction. But you didn't care, did you?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Yes, it's on me and hundreds of millions of people.

Correct.

Unfortunately for you, empowering trump

That is entirely on neoliberalism creating the material conditions necessary for fascism to exist, and siding with the right whenever the egemony is threatened. We see that clear as day with the recent election in France for example.

and Israel

The Democratic party needs no help from anyone for that one. Not even the GOP. You're projecting hard.

It doesn't take a soothsayer to know that Stein will get way less than 2% of the vote, 2% that will help trump but gives her zero chance of winning.

Why do you assume that those voters would vote for the democratic party exactly? Again, a vote is earned not deserved.

You won't move the needle toward third parties

I know I won't, but you could. You don't want too, that's different.

Boooooh! Better run, better hide! A specter is upon you!

[–] [email protected] -2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

I don't know what the fuck this means but I said what I meant to say. You give no fucks that you're helping trump and therefore Israel.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

It means I'm calling you childish for blaming others and calling them "evil" (w/e that even means) for the consequences of your own action.

[–] [email protected] -2 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

Yeah we just cannot foresee the results of 200K people voting for Jill Stein. Just cannot

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 months ago* (last edited 2 months ago) (1 children)

The result will be 200K voted for Jill Stein. You should be more worried about the 100M who vote GOP and the 100M who vote Democrat. But that would actually be attacking the status quo, libs can't have that.

[–] [email protected] -1 points 2 months ago

Lol yeah you're either a complete fraud or not bright at all.
