Over 70% of Gaza was destroyed, and the number of dead is most probably over 100,000 with 70% being women and children. How does a one-day terror attack justify over 600 days of siege, forced famine and displacement? Collective punishment is a war crime.

Hamas continues to hold hostages, continues to fight using civilians as cover, and refuses to surrender. Any government who cares about their civilians and infrastructure would have surrendered long ago.
