My oldhead friend (a Vietnam vet who had been guerilla growing since the 70's) had a mythical local homegrown strain like this as well, and he had been trying to hunt it down for years. The strain he was hunting was called India Rose, and he said it grew amazingly well as an outdoor strain here in Oregon & had a unique sweet & floral taste that smoked super smooth. I keep hoping I'll find some one day and smoke some in his honor (RIP Dave)

One other tidbit that I remember is that this bud was technically considered mid grade because it was outdoor grown and a bit leggy but when you ground it up and had it in a pile, the shit would cascade down like a slow moving pile of sand because of how sappy it was if that makes any sense. It was sticky but dry and moved like that kids toy they make thats basically thick sand.

Edit: The description from this write up sounds spot on. The shit was ugly but dank af mids.
