So up until very recently, Japan was requiring transgender people to be sterilized? π¬
Australia still requires it. The state made me get steralised.
Cool and good.
They also outlawed csam stuff only a few years ago.
CSAM involves actual real life children, the term does not include cartoon child pornography. The whole reason CSAM was coined as a term was to distinguish between the two, such that law enforcement can target their efforts where it matters.
They only outlawed cartoon child pornography a few years ago, but child sexual abuse has basically always been illegal.
Im not talking βlolisβ.

Ten years ago isn't "a few" lol
I stand corrected, thanks.
It's a click-baity headline. They previously required surgical transition, which results in sterilisation. You couldn't 'just' get a vasectomy or hysterectomy to get legal recognition, you needed new genitals too.
Why. Are. Governments. So. Concerned. With. Our. Fucking. Genitals.
Don't worry, I got a plan! I named my junk "climate" & "change" so presumably they will begin worrying about something productive.
Nani the fuck!?
They make cute things so, in general, we don't talk about how completely fucked Japan can be.
Correct, but only if you wanted to change your legal gender. So many transgendered people in Japan have yet to do so to avoid undergoing that procedure.
Hopefully, that's no longer a problem.
Yeeeeeeep. One of those "no one likes talking about it" things.
Believe it or not, but many countries in the West didn't drop that horrific requirement until a decade ago.
