The biggest takeaway for me with all this ... whenever there is another level of stupidity in American government or the president ... is not good dumb he looks .... but instead about how the entire country just passively accepts it. How the media just rolls over it like it's normal now.
This country is fucked
If your "media" is owned by a large corporation or billionaire it's not media but propaganda.
The media is explicitly complicit in the rise of authoritarianism. I'd highly recommend the book "manufacturing consent", it should be required reading for all Americans at this point.
Right? The press would never have let Biden or Obama forget that gaffe.
