That's very cool, but I think they should have waited a bit, maybe even move it to the Switch 2. We've just had remakes of Super Mario RPG and Paper Mario TTYD, is a third Mario-themed RPG within a year really necessary? Who knows when the next one after this comes...

Don't worry, we'll all be able to purchase the game on Switch 2, eventually. And anyone who missed it or wants to play it again will pick it up. Everybody wins, except our wallets!

Nah, fuck that, all us M&L series fans have been waiting 9 years for a new entry. If anything the other 2 should be cancelled if you feel that way

Releasing similar games close to each other is known to cannibalize sales of each other, so it's not a completely bad suggestion. Hopefully Nintendo have enough data to know this won't cause much issue.
