'History repeats itself' wasn't supposed to be advice; plus there's supposed to be more than just 20 years in-between.

I thought libs were making the claim that we all learned from the Iraq war? Heck, Iraq and Iran are nearly the same word but with one letter difference!

How militarily capable is Iran compared to Iraq then? Is there even any chance they could meaningfully defend themselves from partial-scale US attacks?

At least one thing in Iran's favor is that they have known the USA is a military enemy since... well... since the Mullah was installed and again as Iraq was used by the USA to fight a proxy war against Iran in the 80's for almost 10 years.

Iran is also much larger than Iraq with an actual navy.
