Today while spending time with my dad I learned something about my uncle that I just can't keep to myself. He's a nearly 80-year-old drunk and before fox news and the several drunken falls he was honestly a really interesting and decent guy. My stepmom was telling me that recently he has taken to hitting on literally every woman. One of the stories she told me was that while they were at a restaurant, anime was on the tv and he was really into it. He just kept talking about how the girl on tv was "the most beautiful girl I've ever seen in my life" to the point that it was making others around (including the wait staff) uncomfortable. My little brother and stepmom couldn't remember the anime or the character's name, but they specifically remember looking it up and seeing that she was ten. I never thought I'd get to type something like this out but TL:DR my 80 y\o libertarian uncle has a Lolli waifu.

Lol I love the getting called racist for not helping people without masks. I'm so glad my job lets me tell those people off.

Hell yeah. I got to tell two boomer karens to go fuck themselves the other day, to which they got super offended and threatened to sue the store (lol) and then promised to tell their friends how rude we were and not to shop there. To which I said "Good they can all fuck off too". Funniest part was that my manager was there and just laughed at them. Earlier on nearer the start of the pandemic I'd sometimes get questioned by the higher up managers but at this point everyone is so fed up with these assholes that I've been given a pretty long leash regarding how I handle anti-maskers.
