Will the isochronous mode improvements help?

Anyone remember linuxconf?

What's old is new again.

Or OpenBSD in general. I've used it on my desktop for about 25 years.

Not traditional art, but strangely evocative.

Problem is NTFS isn't as widely supported across alternative operating systems.

And bananas are radioactive. Best leave them a few halflives before scraping the mouldy gunky remains from your fruit bowl.

It's a really silly requirement IMHO.

Righteous hack!

It is compared to their predecesssor.

The 720kb "double density" diskette used for example, in Commodore Amiga computers.

Carry one in your pocket so you can whip it out in a threatening gesture... like in the film hackers

Gotcha. Thanks for clarification.

One day, when I have a bit more disposable income, I hope to buy one of your prints :)

Hi,

Several posts I've made to /c/fountainpens have not made it to lemmy.world from the lemmy.sdf.org instance.

If you compare these two urls, you can see that the top post (and several others) are only visible when viewed from sdf:

https://lemmy.world/c/fountainpens https://lemmy.sdf.org/c/[email protected]

I've looked at the debugging tool and the sdf instance thinks that outbound lemmy.world is up to date, so has lemmy.world rejected the posts somehow?

It seems to happen non-deterministically. Some posts have made it through. This has been ongoing for at least a couple of weeks now.

Any ideas?

Edit: this post did federate... could it be to do with posts with images or something?

Hi,

I posted twice to a community on lemmy.world and wondered why no one upvoted or replied.

If I go to the the community directly via a web browser my posts don't show.

Is federation broken again?

My posts were 6 and 7 days ago.

His voice is still burned into my brain even now all these years later. Good childhood memories.

Thoughts?

Asides from what was mentioned in the article, I think the current rules are unforgiving of children who have family abroad whose school holidays don't align.

Hi,

Any of you folks know about EDPM vs Fibreglass roofing.

I need to make a choice for a property extension in the UK. I expect rain, a few hot days, more rain, more rain, and some ice.

The roof won't be load bearing (people won't be walking on it).

Seems like every other website has differing opinions on what's best. I guess because everyone is selling something.

Any impartial opinions on what you'd use?

Cheers

I don't like gravel. That's it.

  • noisy
  • scatters all over the neighborhood.
  • hard to walk on
  • dogs and cats crap in it
  • kids chuck it around and put it in their mouth.
  • doesn't even look good.
  • difficult and heavy to remove once you have come to terms will all of the above.

Gravel advocates... explain your case for gravelling your garden/drive.

Gravel sceptics, feel free to share your distaste.

I recently had to migrate my team's CI from Bors-NG to Github Merge Queues. In this post I share my experience in doing so.

Hi,

I've been using Jerboa for some time, but one day it started saying "unable to verify JWT token" and I appeared to be not logged in any more.

So I removed the account and tried to re-add it. It crashes every time after entering my password.

Tried clearing the cache. No good.

Any ideas?
