I bought a 15 Pro on Monday. Today (Wednesday) I received a tempered glass trying to put on the front and it also came with a glass cover to protect the camera lenses. So I put the glass on the front, and then start cleaning the camera bump area with an alco wipe. There was a spec of dust that was being stubborn to remove. After a little while I realised the spec of dust is on the inside of the camera lense I put the glass cover over anyway but now I'm wondering if I should return it to Apple. It probably isn't affecting the pictures it's taking but now I've seen it under there, I can't unsee it.

My employer told us all the rumours were true. Layoffs were happening. They called it "difficult conversations" instead of firings.

About 1/5th of a team of 1000 people.

Apparently they hadn't decided who yet.

Meanwhile we just received the biggest bonus in the companies history due to historic profits.

Then the CEO told investors that they expect a big pickup early next year and will need to hire a bunch of people to handle the demand.

So they are firing a bunch of people for 6 months to hit financial targets in the back half of the year before hiring people again.

Everyone that is to be fired is still waiting to find out who will be axed.

This is one of the weirdest statements I've ever read.

I don't like the repair policy of this company so I'm switching to Apple......

Tell me you live in a dark cave without telling me you live in a dark cave.

I don't agree with the Mac one.

The Mac UI is basically windows 3.1.

It's absolutely awful.

Also, windows will never brick your machine because of a full hard drive. My wife has a shitty MacBook air. She filled the drive completely. The OS can no longer function. It boots and that's it. You can't open anything, you can't delete anything. Every single click says free up HDD space, even deleting files.

It's so fucking bad.
