Broken clock is based twice a day?

Ah, the Bernie strat. "I support Israel's right to defend itself but it's killed too many children so I need to handwring about it"

Also voted for PSL. I know they don't have a chance at winning this election, but if they can get 5% nationally, it unlocks a bunch of extra funds for the next presidential election. I know electoralism won't do anything to actually fix the USA because it will never address the primary contradiction (settler colonialism) but the more the message can be spread, the more people can be reached, maybe the tides can be shifted.

Yeah, I just saw that. Besides the missing pension, they got quite a bit of good stuff.

It really depends. If the actual left can keep the pressure on and keep Palestinian genocide loud enough that the media HAS to cover it, they'll handwringingly side with Trump, otherwise they'll try to ignore it as much as possible and use the same tactics they use when covering police murdering minorities when they absolutely MUST cover it.

They're going to immediately pretend that they have always felt this way. Don't you know that we've always been at war with Eurasia?

Edit: I lost the plot in the response, I still agree with my original comment but I'm leaving this one for posterity lol. My original point is that the liberals will keep spouting pro Israeli propaganda and blame pro Palestinian activists for the loss, completely ignoring that the Dems continue to move right over and over leaving the progressive portion of their base behind in pursuit of stealing Republican votes.

I'm glad this article exists. The reactionary coworker that keeps talking about this strike says they absolutely won't get the pension back and blames the workers for allowing it to be taken away to begin with. Now the next time he spouts that BS I can tell him it was done via cheap tactics and not actually the workers agreeing properly. (not that it'll fix his politics, but maybe it'll get him to shut up and move onto something else)

No, they're going to double down on pro Israel talking points and blame the Tankies and our *checks notes* belief that humans shouldn't be genocided, for not voting for genocide enough.

I am smiling, crying, and absolutely seething in anger, from a few short paragraphs, all at once. My children are all teens and adults now and have never faced down the realities of a missed meal, let alone extreme hunger and malnourishment. I cannot imagine the pain the author endures watching his children try to cope with their reality, let alone the pain he must have endured not having the ability to change their reality for so long. I hope that one day, hopefully much sooner than later, Palestine will be free and his kids can eat balanced and filling meals every day, sleep calmly without the looming threat of violence, and just be themselves. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go finish crying and dream about [redacted].

Sadly, my place is full (3 adults in a 2 bed 1 bath and it already feels too crowded). Best of luck, comrade. I hope you find somewhere safe quickly.

Ah, OK, I missed that point. The overall comment about the UN still stands but thank you for correcting my mistake, comrade.

The fact she wasn't interrupted and removed from the room mid sentence shows the useless of the UN as it's currently organized, as all liberal institutions are meant for.
