if trump wins do libs immediately pretend to be pro-palestine?
No, they're going to double down on pro Israel talking points and blame the Tankies and our *checks notes* belief that humans shouldn't be genocided, for not voting for genocide enough.
It'll be a tough decision. Do they immediatly start opposing it and have to awkwardly state at their shoes when people ask why they dont have a problem doing it while Biden is still president or do they wait until January and have the same awkward reaction when people ask why this wasn't a problem 25 hours ago but it is now.
They're going to immediately pretend that they have always felt this way. Don't you know that we've always been at war with Eurasia?
Edit: I lost the plot in the response, I still agree with my original comment but I'm leaving this one for posterity lol. My original point is that the liberals will keep spouting pro Israeli propaganda and blame pro Palestinian activists for the loss, completely ignoring that the Dems continue to move right over and over leaving the progressive portion of their base behind in pursuit of stealing Republican votes.
Yep, Trump will say that he supports Israel, and liberals will act like they've supported palestine this whole time, relying on some vague meaningless statements by Harris.
I'm guessing the pivot will be something like "I support Israel, but not now; not like this". Probably a little more polished because party hacks need to justify their paychecks.
Ah, the Bernie strat. "I support Israel's right to defend itself but it's killed too many children so I need to handwring about it"
yup thats what i think its going to happen
