I think Corporals need to get punished if they break the rules. People of higher ranks need to be held accountable to the rules just like lower rank soldiers. I'm in favor of general punishment as well.

Maybe invest in teachers and education. Maybe treat education like a public good so the best and brightest of the less privledged can also contribute to a technological boom. Maybe divest from these stupid wars and invest in building a green infrastructure. But that requires planning for the future right? So anything but plan for the future.
Things have not gotten that progressive under Biden either. Many liberals are acting like delusional fasicsts warmongering against "Orc" Russians. This new Nakba is escalating under Biden. Biden and the useless democrats have refused to secure abortion rights for women. The fascist border policy under Obama has continued to escalate and is creating migrant slave child workers. At this point I see no difference. Their rhetoric means nothing if they do the same thing.

Get your local communist party to redistribute the water resources in a manner to prevent the wars. Why concede that it is inevitable? We'll need to change how we do agriculture drastically to recharge the water tables.
I'm pretty sure we'll all do that eventually barring a ridiculous medical breakthrough.

Do they really think Trump would quit NATO? I get that even if there is a 5% chance of it actually happening, they might see it as good to prepare. IDK if a Trump presidency would be good for the world. I imagine he'd continue the farce in Ukraine and also protect corporations from accountability like any other bourgeoisie president would do. He'll also persecute trans people and ethnic minorities to distract from the deteriorating conditions of capitalism
Next year, I'd like to be able to prepare for it. Give some women small gifts I suppose. As Terry Pratchett says you can only add to traditions. What can we do to make International Women's day explicitly about our women workers? Have your local union or communist party do a presentation on women's labor presented by women?
Make things awkward by deconstructing the illusion of self, then ask them if they really want to know.
