Revolutionaries in the 1910's through 1970's: Baddass mofos with automatic rifles and no fear of death.

Revolutionaries today: Gay dudes dressed up like cartoon animals with an internet connection.

Considering public education began before the industrial revolution and factories, that seems a little suspect.

You don't work where I work then.

Family-owned business. Realizes they're behind-the-ball on technology and practices. Hires college-educated & outside people to make suggestions.

"Well none of that makes sense to us. Forget all that and do it our way."

"That way is wrong."

"Well it's our business, we'll do it how we want."

Then they get all when the talented people get burnt out and quit after a few weeks. Eventually it's "well these kids just don't want to work hard like we do."

These jokes are really going off on a tangent

Bernie would have won. But it was her turn.

Hey look, a guy that doesn't recognize self-defense by a country that's been getting attacked for 70+ years.

Down here in the SE corner, our closest TV stations are KYOU out of Ottumwa and KTVO out of Kirksville. KTVO is Sinclair-owned and has the production quality of a junior high AV club. KYOU is marginally better. But it's all we got, so meh.

Paper-wise, the Ottumwa Courier is decent. Not a lot of content though. They have a hard time getting reporters to stick around.

I used to read the DSM Register, but it seems like it's more of a Des Moines local anymore. Not a lot from around the state. (Which, it's a paper in Des Moines, that would make sense.)

I pretty much just read the local weekly and browse around otherwise. Not much I want to keep up on. I want to be completely oblivious and in the sticks.

Ok, well, put out more likable candidates that get votes then. Stop expecting people to vote for a candidate just because they "aren't the other guy." You want people to vote for your candidate? Stop cherry-picking the next anointed one and saying "here they are, vote for them!"

Goddamn. And Democrats wonder why people think they (we, since I'm registered as one) are so out-of-touch and condescending.

Switch and PS3 here. It's just as difficult. Especially since the buttons for "proceed" and "return" in menu functions are reversed.

It’s obvious you don’t know what fascism is. Get out of your bubble, pal.
