Making an effort and hanging a bad made costume is better than a bought costume. It should be about creativity, not money.
I'd still give candy to kids. Not teens. I'd give extra candy to kids that made an effort in whatever way.
Taco Tuesday. Fish tacos today. Online delivery substitutions meant we had too much fish, so kept half for fish and chips tomorrow night. Snapper cooked really well in chunks on bbq with herbs, cornflour and oil.
I wonder if its less about habit forming as the article supposes, to lock consumers into shopping at one or the other, and more about confusing consumers. If both discount in an alternating fashion, consumers are not benefitting by going to one or the other regularly. They only benefit if they plan their spend across both but that becomes too time consuming. It might be more about keeping pricing much more fluid. If the price is always different, there is no usual price. Its hard to price compare and less likely for price rises to he noticed as consumers can't possibly track all prices of all products.
Wasn't Ukraine having similar discussions and elections about 15 years ago....
Hard to make the call as to whether now is a good time to move closer to the EU from a risk of invasion perspective, when they are currently already in a war with Ukraine and busy, or if the ramped up war machine makes it even riskier.
I don't mind that they simplify it. It makes it easier for more users. Its the fact that even advanced users can't access it. Not a problem with a perfect app on a perfect operating system with perfect interoperability. None of those exist.
More likely from soundcard settings than printer settings. If you're channelling, its due to wrong number of channels selected.
But if the essential parts are left undone for a period due to not paying staff and they leave as insolvent, how many people would die from contaminated water or similar.

Most other countries have their post Covid inflation mostly under control, if not in their preferred band, they are considering rate cuts. Obviously war is not conducive to that. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if the cost of war became a problem that hindered it, which was the point of institutions like the eu in the first place.
