I live in kentucky. have all my life.
the kentucky democratic party will never make issues like this an issue to fundraise or encourage people to run for office. it's embarrassing.

the one quick fix to this is to change the last day to run for office to the day after the general assembly session ends. I never was surprised when the really noxious evil bills showed up in committee when it was no longer possible for those people to lose their seats.
also I bet they're running unopposed. I really hate the kentucky democratic party. the wa6 they operate it's as though they think the republicans are doing a great job it would be a great inconvenience if they challenged them. it's been that way since I've been voting.
yes because math. next week it won't be a problem because it will be a milestone multiple of 10 age.
sure, thank adam schiff now get destroyed by him in november since the democratic vote won't be split 3 ways.
that's because when political parties primary presidential incumbents, that party loses the white house. you want to put trump and his christian nationalist wet dream project 2025 in power?
besides there's the other fact that no other democrat was inclined to run for president, nor are any of them able to now. signature requirements to run in the super tuesday states were due last thursday iirc. so the only way biden will not be the candidate is if he has to step away from the presidency between now and the convention.
biden is the candidate. if you have a problem with that you should have done something about that in 2016.
I'm assuming nothing. but if he did win, a ruling like that would not surprise me at all.
not necessarily. if he dies our democrats governor gets to pick the next senator despite what an unconstitutional law says.
I would and for the most part have used private trackers for either a specific type of thing or a specific kinda obscure or not very popular title. I find that the more not well known a thing is, the more likely it's going to be found and (re)seeded on a private tracker.
I was able to ask for an invite on a public forum, and I was able to use my demonoid (remember demonoid?) stats as proof back when they were semi private.
if you can show that you are a good and consistent uploader someone usually will sling an invite your way.
I'm not really a fan because in a lot of cases it forces you to download stuff you might not want just to establish and maintain an acceptable ratio so eventually you can get the stuff you do want.
if I wanted something obscure and not really interested in the popular thing I'm either wasting bandwidth and/or server space starting out or searching for that thing on a public tracker.
the one private tracker I do use is extremely generous with upload credits for newbies and I was able to take advantage of that plus contribute something right away so I didn't and still don't have any issues but I know that's not the case with some people.
I don't think they're trying to help trump per se. I absolutely believe they're trying to foster outrage politics. and they are willfully ignorant of what they are reporting just so they can gain/maintain access. and they are so scared shitless of being labeled "liberal" that they are bending over so far backwards they're facing front again that they normalize or equate everything a republican does to a democrat when it's clear one is not the same level of scandal.
these are the same people who tell us that the people who frequent "this ohio/illinois/indiana/iowa diner" are more real americans than people who live in cities are.
doing all of that benefits trump. but I think that's a side effect of the real problem. when you are catering to a homogenous audience and trying to pass it off as something that is the pulse of the country you're going to get this type of unbalanced coverage.
