i doubt it, i don't see why an icon pack would have a systemd service. probably something to do with moonlight [nvidia]

still, thank you for introducing me to a new* icon pack

I have to say I like this one

kde can still look like that too:

kde oxygen theme, plasma 5.27

i really hope oxygen does get ported to plasma 6, and not dropped like the air theme has been

i must say though, as much as i prefer the look of light themes usually, i think dark themes are objectively[^1] better unless you're in bright sunlight: images and video aren't affected by themes, so dark themes put the focus on the media, whereas light themes can wash them out

(current theme setup)

[^1]: this is conjecture, i haven't done any studies

Artillery Witches stalk the battlefields, hurling ordnance assembled in the death factories of Hell's 3rd Circle. They are completely mute, and no one has ever seen their faces. Some question if they are even living, and there are even tales that they too were manufactured in Hell.

transcript

a woman with pale grey skin wearing black with gold detailing, sitting on apparently nothing. smoke falls from her. she wears a black feathered hat with slimy buboes on the bottom that mostly obscures her face, showing only a gold eye instead of a mouth

by the way, if you put a backslash before the hash, you don't get massive text

edit: i'm not the dev. i just like the app, and am just posting it here for exposure

Hello everyone!

I've finally released Eternity on the google play store. Note that this is not compatible with the existing releases as this build has a different signature.

Thanks for your support and looking forward to your feedback!

did you click the thing saying that you understand analogies?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (3 children)

i'm not making a moral comment on anything, including piracy. i'm saying "but it's part of my established workflow" is not an excuse for something morally wrong.

only click here if you understand analogy and hyperbole

if i say "i can't write without kicking a few babies first", it's not an excuse to keep kicking babies. i just have to stop writing, or maybe find another workflow

pirating photoshop is a well-understood part of many peoples' workflows. that doesn't make it legal or condoned by adobe

The three patents relate to “a system for presenting and controlling content on a display device.”

ah, so you mean all computing devices

i think they are bad. i bought the steam deck specifically because of the trackpads, and they're just much too small and awkwardly placed. compare to the steam controller, the greatest controller known to man, they're just horrible

the steam controller also has slightly concave pads, allowing ones thumb to make contact with consistent pressure. the steam deck has flat pads

and they're square. why are they square? whose idea was that? my thumbs can move in a circle, the pads should be circular

gripes

i wish the smach z hadn't been a scam. i was so looking forward to that thing

however sensitivity-wise as he's talking about: i've had no problems. they've been perfect. and definitely needed if using the deck in desktop mode, much better than an awkward joystick mouse or using the touchscreen like some weird nintendo ds

what? how dare you insinuate that i would abuse power! to the stocks with you for this blasphemy!
