Hey dude - I won't remove this post because I'm a little late to the party and it's received a good number of upvotes, but in the future, please be mindful of the sidebar rule: "Images should be wallpaper size (at least 1920x1080, or mobile equivalent)." 1200x829 is a fairly low quality image to use as a wallpaper. I've never really thought of coordinating them tbh but it sounds and looks like a neat idea. I've always kept the lock and home screen the same but lately I've been changing the wallpaper to roughly match the season. So right now it's a snowy mountains for winter.
You're more than welcome to post on shitty food porn. There's not a lot of activity and the votes will let you know if it's the right place (I don't remove posts unless they're breaking rules). It kind of has two interpretations - pictures of shitty food (self explanatory) or food porn that's shitty (ie bad lighting, bad presentation, etc).
Or let me know if you start an "average food porn" community and I'm more than happy to link it in the sidebar of SFP.
Thanks! I'll try converting the file format and see if that'll work. I successfully uploaded a JPEG last night, so maybe it just doesn't like PNG files anymore 🤷♂️
There seems to be an issue with uploading large images. I don't know if anyone else has noticed it but I'm getting the error when trying to upload wallpapers to /c/wallpapers. I think it might be related to file size? Or maybe file format? It's a 13MB .png file. I don't remember running into issues with the old version when posting similar content.
Hey, that's my city! I'm sad to say that I'm not overly surprised. I don't know if it's an everywhere thing, but there's a vocal minority in Victoria that have a real stick up their ass about bike lanes.

I'm sure there's an argument to be made about not buying things you can't afford, but looking at the graph in that article, people are going to get fucked on mortgage renewals. Anyone that locked in for 3/4/5 years are going to be renewing between now and the next couple of years and going from BOC rate of 0.25% to 5% or more is going to hurt.
Someone I know is looking at renewing their mortgage in the next couple of months and they're already looking at a jump from 3% to >6%.
