I believe that we're going to see federal funding being used to coerce States into complying. Also a handful of Blue states holding on is not going to have much of a dent on climate change and its effects

Until the federal government makes climate actions illegal. The party of "State rights" are going to be changing their tune real quick

A lot of people don't seem to understand that 2024 Trump is not 2016 Trump. In 2016 a lot of Republicans and cabinet members opposed him. Now Trump has the Republicans fully under his control, willing to do whatever he wants.

He is not going to appoint someone to the FCC. He is going to get rid of it. ISPs are going to be free to do whatever they want with no federal interference.

Four years hahahaha. Oh my poor child, try next several decades. Trump is going to fill up the courts with as many right wing lunatics he can his hands on. Hell maybe the whole government too.

This is not natural. This wasn't some freak, once in a lifetime storm. This is the result of over a century of human climate change. This will get worse

Earliest short story I can remember is Monsters are Due on Maple Street in middle school. Didn't quite get the historical context at the time. But the theme of rampant senseless paranoia stuck with me.
