I am from the same area Rush Limbaugh is from and that mofo is part of the reason on top of the almost 30 years of constant Fox News my mother has consumed for who she is nowadays. Fun fact though, I went to high school with some Limbaughs who were distantly related to Rush hahaha.

It’s impossible. I’ve done similar things with my own mother for years and years, yet it’s like talking to a reinforced concrete wall. Nothing I will say can change her opinion on anything political. The thing is though, my Mom has been a rabid Republican since the 80s. She even used to run her county’s Republican headquarters for a time and considered getting into politics so she really is impossible to sway anyway compared to most people. Sad thing is, I am her only son and not even I can convince her….
