Check those matching expressions of duping delight in that pic.

Closeup photo of two light-grey long-haired house cats who are standing directly underneath a swing-arm desk lamp. They have long, luxurious whiskers and luxuriant "ruffs" of fur on their upper chests. They are both facing the camera, one behind the other, but they are looking directly up into the light bulb. The cat in front has a serene expression on its face and its eyes reflect the light. The cat in back appears dazed by the light, and its jaw is slightly open, exposing its teeth. Its eyes are not visible, as its head is leaned very far back.

That's because people got their words all mixed up. Back in the day, "is not it" would absolutely be the normal way to phrase "isn't it."

It sounds weird today of course.

Re: the rules on the side: "Alt-Text for vision-impaired users in the post body or in the comments is highly encouraged. Just pretend you are describing a photo to someone on the phone."

Some instances have "alternate text" boxes that don't show up for everyone but allow screen readers to read it, but if not, just put it in the body. Or as a comment.

It's alternate text for people with visual impairments/screen readers.

I wrote it.

A group of four female athletes are in various states of repose after completing a relay event at the Olympics. Three are looking toward the upper right at something offscreen; the woman on the left has anxious tears in her eyes. The fourth young woman is facing the woman on the left who is crying and comforting her. All are wearing orange racing tank tops and blue athletic shorts. They all have long hair that is either partially up and braided or completely braided.

What's wrong with subscribing to both? Then you'd have both in your feed; you wouldn't have to go anywhere.

But yeah we also wanted to make sure to get the name in a couple of places. Didn't expect our resignation letters & whatnot to go a bit more public and get influxes of users and all.

[This is a close-up photo of two Japanese Waxwing birds perched on the bare branches of a Rowan tree that has no leaves. Only sparse clumps of bright red berries are on the branches. The bird on the bottom branch has a red berry in its beak and the bird on the higher branch is looking down at a clump of berries to its lower left. The birds and berries are in very sharp focus in the foreground. The background is blurred out, which makes the birds and berries look like they are isolated on a canvas. The background is a very light tan color which makes the berries and birds stand out more.]
