Yeah my mom convinced me to trade-in my 8 and just get the Pro model.

I have/had a 6, but the battery became extra spicy and I haven't gotten around to getting a replacement.

My Pixel 2 is still happily kicking though, no swelling and still turns on. Though the battery doesn't last long at all.

They quoted like $450-$490 for my Pixel 8, but I imagine it's going to be even less as the screen is still flashing green. Even though they're doing warranty replacements on the P8 because of that, I'm betting they're going to use it as an excuse to slash the value off the trade-in.

Yeah it's absolutely awful. I haven't checked out the trade-in pricing. I haven't ever tried that before, I was considering trading in my pixel 8, but I like having a spare in case something happens to my main phone and it needs to be repaired.

But yes, I agree it is a bad look.

Agreed. I desperately wanted a Pixel phone with 1TB, when I saw that not only is the Pro available in a normal size model this year, BUT with a 1TB option I got excited...until I saw that it adds $500 to the base price of the phone, bringing it to a whopping $1499.

I'm gonna wait and see what the pricing looks like on Black Friday. I was originally wanting to keep my Pixel 8 until support ran out, but I'm already over half full on my 256gb, and my screen is having the green screen issues. I know I can get it warrantied, but the 1tb normal sized Pro is just a tempting option.

Oh man, check his profile on printables. He's got a 500 cig adapter. Man has designed the route to speed run cancer acquisition.

Agreed, I also miss the feature of being able to extend a screenshot on a page.

But uBO is a necessity now to browse the Internet. The ads are so bad now.

Yeah the Bishoujo series by Kotobukiya does that. They take everything and turn them into anime girls.

Optimus Prime

Starscream

Megatron

Geralt of Rivia

No one is safe from the waifu beam.

Had this happen as well with the GR86 trunk handle file that's on there as well. I made a make, tried to mark it as such, but was given the same error. Like with your case, the creator doesn't have an option for purchase/support.

As a light novel reader, they did an amazing job with Eighty Six. I could not be happier with it, the only thing about the anime I don't like is that they never gave it a season 2.

I really want to see my favorite character animated.

Spice and Wolf

Konosuba

Kaiju No. 8

Eventually I'm going to start Mushoku Tensei.

I'm having a lot of fun with the first three, though.

I'm so excited to have spice and wolf back. I'm really hoping it's going to get the Fruits Basket treatment and they give it a full adaptation.

He's the creepy little shit from My Hero Academia. A character so horny that no "horny jail" would be able to contain him. He was always trying to molest or sexually abuse every female character he came across.

Like at one point, the main character rescued a very young girl (Eri) from a criminal organization that was emotionally and physically (non-sexual) abusing her. The live-in school that the characters go to accepted Eri so that they could give her a better living environment and take care of her.

The literal first words Mineta said to her were "Hi, my name's Mineta, and I can't wait to see what you look like when you grow up."

My first VSO was a clip for this garnish/trim for some blinds my mom had. Due to the way the blinds fit in this specific window, my mom couldn't use the factory hardware to fix the garnish to the blinds, so for the longest time she was using adhesives which would fail over time. One day (shortly before my printer arrived) the garnish fell again and almost hit my cat, my mom expressed frustration over it, and over how she would have to go by more adhesives. I reminded her that I'm getting a printer, I could just make something that would mount it permanently.

My second one was two mounts for my IKEA lack enclosure. I wanted to make a Nevermore filter, so I needed a power supply. Thanks to working at an electronics lab, I managed to score the power supply from a server rack PC. It's absolute overkill for this, but it came out looking pretty clean, even modeled in a mounting hole for a simple toggle switch so I can activate the power supply without having to plug/unplug the unit.

Hey guys, I work at a lab that has a small print farm. We recently had to get a supply of 2.5kg ESD filament as our vendor didn't have the usual 1kg spools in stock. The problem is these new spools are massive, and our filament dryers are nowhere near big enough to accommodate them.

I have this Cosori food dehydrator at home (picture below) that I've repurposed for filament drying, and I brought in one of its segments to see if the spool would fit inside; but the spool was still too large.

The spool dimensions are 3.875"H and a diameter of 11.75". Does anyone know of any food dehydrators that would be large enough to accommodate a spool of this size?

I'm currently doing research to see if I can find a large enough dehydrator, but all of the manufacturers I've so far looked at seem to only give external dimensions, not internal. If anyone knows of a good dehydrator, it would really help out!

Hey guys, I'm sorry if this post comes across as super dumb but I was just wanting to ask for some advice about learning electric guitar.

Over a decade ago I inherited a guitar from a friend who took his life, I tried learning it at first but ended up getting distracted by life and dropped it. Recently though I saw it sitting and collecting dust and decided that, even if it was a cheap electric guitar, I didn't want it to spend its life like that.

So yesterday I got some new strings, a new (and better) amplifier than the $20 one I bought secondhand over a decade ago, and a couple books about guitars, one of them being a book with nothing but like 300+ different chords, I also fixed the intonation on the bridge.

So here's my questions:

I'm looking to try and play punk rock music (All American Rejects, My Chemical Romance, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, stuff with that kind of sound). What chords should I focus on learning that would be good for that kind of genre?

And I'm guessing the chords are can be played by strumming all of the strings together at once or you can play the notes individually, one after the other?

Sorry again if this post is really dumb, I really want to try and make sure I don't drop this guitar again, I'd like to properly honor my friend's memory and give this guitar the attention it deserves.
