For me (europe) it is:

  • 2,99 = 50GB
  • 9,99 = 2TB

Everyone with a family or social life has between 20-200GB photos and videos. Notice how there is no plan for 5,99 = 1TB. You either do not back up everything and pay 3€, or you pay a tener per month to have a cloud storage that is always 50-70% empty but still have to pay for.

I will be the first to leave Apple iCloud if there is a viable solution that works like apples own OS integration without jumping through hoops and losing albums and meta data

Hello

It was crazy hard to find a rule that actually worked to remove any videos - so I thought I might share it with others here. There are so many old or broken Reddit and SuperUser "solutions" in the web that just do not work (anymore?).

Here is a simple rule (yet heavy on rendering time) you can add to your filterlist if you want to block videos containing a trigger word:

youtube.com##yt-formatted-string:has-text(TRIGGERWORD_HERE):upward(ytd-rich-item-renderer)

e.g: for me "Trump"

youtube.com##yt-formatted-string:has-text(Trump):upward(ytd-rich-item-renderer)

Thought that might help someone else who might be searching for this in the future.

Trump said at one point that he would not come to Taiwans help if China attacks. With the stagnating chinese economy, China has 4 years to attack Taiwan without the US intervening. Musk tries to move his supply chain out of Taiwan before China makes the move.

A russian attack on US civial aviation would remove all brakes on ukrainian aid. They would not even allowed from then on to strike deep into russian territory, it would be a auto subscription to the Best-Daily-Targets-Newsletter by every 3Letter-Agency in the US. How stupid can Putin be?

I was not proficient with this topic, so had to look it up:

The Ship of Theseus, also known as Theseus's Paradox, is a paradox and a common thought experiment about whether an object is the same object after having all of its original components replaced over time, typically one after the other.

In Greek mythology, Theseus, the mythical king of the city of Athens, rescued the children of Athens from King Minos after slaying the minotaur and then escaped onto a ship going to Delos. Each year, the Athenians would commemorate this by taking the ship on a pilgrimage to Delos to honour Apollo. A question was raised by ancient philosophers: After several hundreds of years of maintenance, if each individual piece of the Ship of Theseus were replaced, one after the other, was it still the same ship?

It is the same Argument the Iranian and Afghan Goverments use to cripple the freedom of womans. AllahuMaga.

legal tender

As far as I understood it in the last 20 years, it is only legal tender for debt facing the goverment. No private business has to accept cash. They do not have to accept cards either. If they wish, they could demand payments only in acorns or bottle caps if they wanted to. Only govermental Institutes (eg. for taxes, fines, etc.) have to always accept cash so you can always free yourself from outstanding debits without needing a bank account as bank wiring or credit cards are a private 3rd party business that can not be guaranteed for every citizen (as banks can arbitrary decline service to people).
