Uncover why a basic piece of equipment is now indispensable in simracing. It ensures your concentration remains sharp and your body temperature stays low throughout demanding races, enhancing peak performance and reducing overheating disruptions.

Finally got a chance to run an imsa fixed race at silverstone! in iracing.

Weather said rain unlikely: that was a lie.

It lightly rained the whole race.

Qualified P2 with a lucky lap in the wet, but fell back to P3 at the start of the race.

Tried to overcut P2, but didn't have the pace.

P3 finish in the LMP2 class.

Super fun race.

They're going to be hosting a tournament which is really neat. #

Week 6 of Season 4, 2024: Got in a few races.

Started off with IndyCar Fixed at Long Beach, started 9th and finished 6th.

Next, IMSA Fixed at Road Atlanta (one of my favorite tracks!), started 14th and finished 11th.

Ended the week strong with a P3 finish in the PCC at Road Atlanta!

How was your week?

No issues, great quality videos.

That fact that it seamlessly blends with my car's interior. Here is some info about it.

Oh this is very cool. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks!

Edit: just downloaded and gave a a quick read. I'm very tempted to give this one a shot. I love the esthetics and theme.

That being said, have you done any similar one shots but for DM and 1 player? Cheers

Hey all I'd really like to use pixelfed but I'm having an issue where I assumed that the followed hashtags would show up with posts on my home feed with those tags. However it does not seem to be the case. Is there a way for this to work that way? Thanks!

edit: so it looks like the web has https://pixelfed.social/i/web/discover/my-hashtags but that only shows a rotating 3 followed hashtags. seems like a silly way to do that. it also does not appear to be accessible from the android app.

Realized I just hit 30k and I'm gathering some of my thoughts to write up a quick review. anything specific you'd want to see in a 30k miles review? Cheers!

Hey all, but I've been enjoying browsing "local" in some of my instances and I'm looking to join a more specific example and was curious if there are any heavy motorsports related.

F1, imsa, wec, anything. I'm already subscribed to a bunch of those communities as well. I guess I'd have that as a discovery-type mechanic.

Bonus points, English-speaking Netherlands-ish instance

cheers.

I’ve been rocking OTA 2.9 on my Polestar 2 for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it’s been an impressive update.

One of the standout features for me has been the improved efficiency app. It’s a fantastic addition that I’ve been enjoying watching the graph change based on my driving and the road.

There was a poll a while back about Pilot Assist holding too far to the right or left. It was interesting to see mixed responses. Some folks agreed while others claimed they hadn’t experienced the issue at all.

I was one of the unlucky ones who experienced a problem on a particular stretch of highway where Pilot Assist would uncomfortably stick to the right side of the lane. However, with update 2.9, I haven’t encountered this problem again on the same stretch of road. It’s worth noting that there haven’t been any documented changes to how Pilot Assist functions, nor any modifications to the road (like repainting the lane markings, for instance).

All in all, I believe the 2.9 update is a significant step in the right direction for the Polestar 2. It’s great to see the company actively working on improving the driving experience. Kudos to the development team!
