Meanwhile I love doing volunteer work with no problems whatsoever (free work most of the time) and at the same time I have problems keeping my mental health stable for a longer period of time when working for a wage...

The two other scenarios make sense to me. The third one I still don't get ๐Ÿ˜…

Something you are told about from the past (and whatever else) can sound epic or horrible. Something you've heard can lift your mood or give you a feeling of sorrow.

Experiencing the told story and the feelings you'd experience within however is nothing compared to the feels you get from a story.

Care to explain this? I didn't get it ๐Ÿ˜‚

I think nothing.

We were studying XYZ, coordinates during one math class in the middle school.
I asked where's the Z if X and Y were on the paper. My friend pointed with his finger that Z would come out of the paper like this.

Mind blown ๐Ÿ˜‚
I still reminiscent on it once in a while.

I find it strange to get such a response.
"We'll look into it" would be more sensible...

Could he bite into the butt too?

Yay! Discussing hardship as well as sharing the good stuff with folks can help if you have someone that fits around!

Either after a breakup or after having problems in an ex work place.
Some stuff I needed to go talk about but it didn't drag me as low as you'd think.

You can always try to find new meanings for yer life. Yes, it takes effort, but so does taking care of your other needs.
Try out some new stuff - hobbies, seeing new peeps. Ask yer friends to join you for new things, maybe it's more fun that way.

I started spending less and less time on the computer. It gave me the chance to be more spontaneous, doing different things with my girlfriend I normally don't do.

:..except if you talk about ALL usage of any sort. That's gonna be difficult since digital is in our lives for a stay.

Life is...well, it's something alright.
And one thing it is connected to is death.

.

Some of us fear death, while it gets others thinking about it and about topics circling it.
Fascinated about it all, even.

.

How much does philosophy touch the topic of morbid curiosity?

.

In case your appetite wakes up for more morbid curiosity, feel free to check out the new magazine that tries to be all about it!

  • Add two spaces after a line of text, if you want to continue on the next line with no spaces.
Like this (see this line just under the other!)!

.

  • In Lemmy, you can copy a picture in the computer's clipboard and paste it straight away in the text box with Ctrl+V!
  • Note the star. Click three dots on a comment to see it or look straight on a thread to see it. It's a saving feature. When you deem something worth coming back to or to remember about, click it. It gets saved in your account
  • Lemmy supports the spoiler system. If you want to hide text (appears when clicked on), use that. Its symbol in the text editor is an excalamtion mark inside a triangle
  • Add "-" with a space before a line of text to make a list!
  • using the "#" lets you create a tag. Through tags you can find content outside the post and the community where you see the tag, going beyond to different communities, posts and threads and maybe find something new and interesting that you can start following!
  • Add ">" (with no space) before a line of text to quote something

Quotation!

.

  • See the dot above?
If you want more space between paragraphs, you can use that (I know I do!). Makes reading text more clear, in my opinion!

.

Lemmy has many interesting communities of various topics. Check some of them out and subscribe to them if you get interested! And if you don't find something that just should be there, consider creating one yourself!
Your own fresh new community grows slowly. Make sure to post regularly and talk about your community in other posts/threads to gain some visibility!
