What a shocker! Who could have predicted this?

Nah, how about not making flimsy excuses for apathy and it's consequences.

If you didn't vote for Harris, you are complicit in whatever Trump's administration does the next 4 years, and we're not going to let you hide from your culpability. Regardless of whatever BS you come up with to justify your decision after the fact.

Fap a lot apparently

*glares at all the people protest abstaining or who voted 3rd party.

Sooo bet you sure are pleased with yourself way up there on your pedestal.

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good people do nothing".

Please enjoy the next 4 years of watching evil triumph due to your inaction

and yet, if I turn my head the 'wrong way' in bed I'm debilitated for days.

The fight where the Minotaur explodes is peak Danmachi but IIRC it takes a whole season for it. The number of really emotional moments per season does pick up though.

The Ishtar Familia arc is a bit skeevy imo but sets up some key lore and characters. Other than that the rest is pretty solid. Season 5 is real slow at the start, especially if you hate the way females behave in the series, but by s04+ it is worth it.

That was my point. They only show up every election to act as BS spoilers with zero chance of success and just as quickly as they appear, they vanish once the vote is over because it was all a con.

I'm surprised nobody seems interested in this one. It's been solidly in the top 10 since the season started and jumped up +5 last week.

We're past the hook so the story has gotten real interesting. If you gave up on it after the first episode or 2 I recommend you give it another watch.

Violates rules 1-4 all at once. Not bad. 👋

Okay, now they're just taking the piss lol

Yeah, the "I do not want to vote for the lesser evil" crowd was literally saying the misogyny out loud for all to see.

In anticipation of a Trump victory, there have already been efforts to try to ensure continued support for Ukraine, continuity in NATO and to craft a response should Mr. Trump make good on his threat to apply blanket tariffs on goods imported into the United States.

But the Europeans have a long way to go. A second Trump presidency could serve as a catalyst for Europe to fortify itself in the face of a more undependable America. But it is far from clear the continent is prepared to seize that moment.

. . .

“A Trump victory is very painful for Europeans, as it confronts them with a question they’ve tried hard to hide from: ‘How do we deal with a United States that sees us more as a competitor and a nuisance than a friend to work with?’” said Georgina Wright, deputy director for International Studies at the Institut Montaigne in Paris. “It should unite Europe, but that does not mean Europe necessarily will unite.”

Though doubt looms over Trump's moves in the coming months, his warm relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and his September claim that Ukraine was "demolished" and its people "dead" have left Kyiv worried.

In his victory speech in Florida, Republican party leader Trump did not directly mention the war in Ukraine but reminded the cheering crowd that the U.S. saw "no wars" during his first presidential term from 2017 to 2021 before Joe Biden, the Democratic party's outgoing president, succeeded him.

. . .

The Kyiv Independent asked six Ukrainian servicemen for their reaction to Trump's victory.

Summary

Regardless of Putin’s decision regarding the war in Ukraine, Russia’s economy is facing a crisis due to factors such as sanctions, a shrinking sovereign wealth fund, and a labor shortage. The war has boosted growth, but Russia cannot sustain it without significant economic consequences.

Facing a shortage of planes due to Western sanctions, Russia is in talks with some Central Asian countries for their airlines to run domestic flights and help meet a pick up in travel demand.

Russian airlines, which use many Western aircraft delivered before the war in Ukraine, are struggling to meet growing demand for air travel as sanctions hinder access to parts and domestic production takes time to ramp up.

Transport Minister Roman Starovoit said last week Russia was in talks with so-called "friendly" countries, including Kazakhstan, about foreign airlines operating domestic flights, Russian news agencies reported.

Russia has also approached Uzbekistan, which is considering the proposal, an Uzbek government source told Reuters.
