I just got that same post for my kitty! How long has it held up?

I've had it for maybe a year and a half or so. The only issue is the sleeve of rope has kinda detached and the top of it is sort of sliding down from the structural part. I've been thinking about using my staple gun and some epoxy to fix it up, which I think would work fine. I'm sure at some point our 3 kitties will pretty much destroy the rope sleeve and I'll probably attempt to make a new one on the same structure. I don't think the rope sleeve on here is sisal rope, which I'll probably use whenever I end up replacing it.
