Funny fuck up tonight. I was speaking to a client and had to put them on hold for a couple minutes to get help. I got the help, then called the client back. They didn't answer so I left a voicemail. 5 minutes later when I'm finished with the file, I noticed they're still on hold to me. I'd left them a voicemail while they were on hold to me. At least they thought it was funny when I said "so this is going to seem a bit silly, but I've just left you a voicemail"...

ta da, just finished reading a general text book on modern handwriting and calligraphy. I have learned much. One thing is that it is near impossible to have nice Modern Round English script, the script I was taught at school. It looks crap for nearly everyone and is hard to get to look right with thick and thin lines with a pointy pen.
Books on Italic handwriting scripts have been ordered. π
Today I also watched Young Fronkensteen. I think comedians often make movies with their friends so they can make jokes. Which is great too. πΈ 3.5 hobbits .
Dr. Frankenstein: You must be Igor.
Igor: No, it's pronounced "eye-gor."
Dr. Frankenstein: But they told me it was "ee-gor."
Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?
Slays me everytime, one of my favorite movies

Right there with you minus the alcohol π
Yes girl!!!
I've been puffin all day (kids at school and day off). Couple of vape hits now are taking me to outer space.
The alcohol is a nice a grounder.
Enjoy your night π

You know what they say.. grass then beer you're in the clear, beer then grass you're on yo arse.
I learnt that after ice cream pizza as a youngen the hard way.
My tolerance allows me to change the order.
Definitely it was grass first though.
I'm seasoned, doesn't mean I'm stupid.
Cheers!

I'm trying to think of an American show in the 80s that featured a red headed dude in a brown leather jacket. He was either a detective or a private eye and I think the theme song was Saturday In The Park but I could be wrong. It was on late at night. I've googled and nothing comes close. If you could help, most appreciated.
I have a few leads.
Wise Guy.
Spenser for Hire
Jake and the Fatman
Downton ( 1986 )
Booker (1989)
Greatest American Hero ( ???)
Omg. Thanks for this but it just came to me. It was Minder. Not even the the same country. I'm sorry.
I'll find it. Early or late 80s? What American accent did they have? Any particular city or was it rural?
I reckon mid to late 80s early 90s. City, maybe New York or Chicago.
Cool. Imma gonna look at about 100 shows now π«₯
Thank you.
Ordered a pizza because why the fuck not. It's been a hell of a day βΉοΈ
Treat yo self
Why not?
Hope itβs yummy!
Oh, snap
You've reminded me I haven't treated myself to my post-move pizza! Might have some tomorrow night. Sussing out the local joints... found one that piques my interest. Ain't paying $8 for delivery if I can nip out and get it in 3 minutes though
