It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:
Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.
Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.
Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.
And no stickers! Stickers will interfere with the aerodynamics of your helmet and literally rip your head from your neck. Careful out there folks.
That seems pretty ridiculous. I never had too much of an issue with visibility in the rain, and you can already buy gloves with a built-in squeegee blade on the thumb. That said, if it were a lot cheaper it might be worth trying out.
I've never have issues with water on the outside of motorcycle helmets that have had water repellant coating on them.
For me, condensation and a foggy visor (on the inside) was a major PITA as the temperatures got colder.
Fogging has definitely been a bigger problem than rain, though I've only been in strong rain maybe twice and not at highway speeds so I may lack experience.
If it's a strong rain then I would just park the bike and wait when possible. It's already difficult with a car, wouldn't want to risk it in a bike. But yeah if you are going slow in residential area then not as risky other than lack of visibility.
