I think more Canadians moved to states than vice versa during the last trump presidency

And at that time life in Canada was actually good lol

People always say they're going to leave if something happens. But emigration is really hard, and living in a foreign country is not all bicycles and universal healthcare. Nowhere is perfect, and leaving your job and family and favorite pizza place is a lot more work than most people imagine.

Yes, especially If you are established in an area with a community. We moved across country East side to West side. You lose family, friends, and it is hard to reintegrate since people already have their own circles. Job changes or job hunting, plus costs of moving drain your accounts.
