I feel like people are just rolling over and taking it? He shouldn't even be eligible because of the 14th Amendment "no insurrection" thing.

Democrats vocally came out against getting him off the ballot for his crimes alleging 'you can only beat him at the ballot box', but it turns out they can't.

Kamala must be so stoked to see so many republicans in the cabinet.

Democrats will learn nothing from this.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 day ago

Well I guess the good news is that it no longer matters if they learn anything? These election results make it clear that going forward they'll have about as much effect on lawmaking as a dead hamster. It's even possible that, except for serving as a convenient cardboard bogeyman, they'll otherwise cease to exist at all.

Id go so far as to say they're paid good money to explicitly not learn from this.

Isn't USA culture very big about "never give up"?

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Only if you're white. If not, do as your told or you may be assaulted, imprisoned, or shot dead. Sometimes you'll do what your told and those things will still happen.

US culture is primarily talking a lot but not actually doing anything.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

True, but it did worked for real for that one dude at least.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Eh, at this point a majority of the voting block voted for fascism. I'm about ready to just call it, go home and not participate anymore.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

I understand your feelings but would urge you tor reconsider. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing.

Every time i think the US can't get any more ridiculously observationally challenged, I'm taught otherwise...

A billionaire, convicted felon, moron and over all most likely a damn pedo gets elected to be the top-clown of the clown-college.

I'm sorry for every sane murican who has to endure that. And especially for everyone that is not "normal"....

[–] [email protected] 18 points 1 day ago

Oh he's definitely a pedo. Creeping on his own daughter. Peeping on young girls in changing rooms. Epstein's best friend.
