I’ve slowly become of the mind that the left can be patriotic, and it might even help the cause of the left to have national pride in our accomplishments in science, civil rights, space exploration, etc.

People that aren’t fascists can still be patriots in defiance of fascism. Wrest the flag from their greedy bloodstained hands.
