EcoMaoism is the synthesis of Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought with radical environmentalist and animal liberation ideologies. We uphold that animals are exploited and deserve the same liberations that the workers would have under communism. We are also against sources of pollution, deforestation, and climate change. We are not western liberals, We are green tankies!

Well, I feel the radiation concerns are sorta... Overblown compared to how much radioactive material a coal or natgas plant would pump out. Very excited to see how that experimental MSR out in the Gobi Desert does.

Nuclear is better than the fossil fuel based options for sure, and would make a great transition energy source while we improve wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, and fusion. I don't think nuclear is a good permanent solution though, so transitioning out of nuclear (after transitioning outbof fossil fuels ofc) should be the goal at that point in our development as a species.

Socialist countries need nuclear plants.

Um, what about the Bataan nuclear plant tho?

You think we should rebuild it, if the Philippines is a socialist nation later on?

Absofuckinglutely. No amount of wind or solar is enough to power large population centers

What about hydro-power? The Philippines has a lot of it...

Also, I hope we get nukes later down the line.

It's ok but given places like Quezon and Manila have 1 million iirc, we might as well go nuclear.
