How do I convince them the robots are in league with the feds

They are nearly 70 so if you can find an analogy to the miner's strike it would help

First season of Psycho-Pass, which is very very good.

I do not recommend the other seasons. Think of it as a standalone thing though and it's fantastic.

Oh, is it another situation like Promised Neverland, where they never did a second season? But thanks! Will check it out

I don't know about whether the source is good or not. I think Promised Neverland was a situation where the source was good but they rushed the content in the second season... But for Psycho-Pass it just feels like the writing takes a bad hit. It all goes in the wrong direction and doesn't feel like it ever recovers.

I vaguely remember enjoying the movie, but Season 2 was poor compared to S1 and then S3 starts doing magic and it's just not good at all.

S1 is excellent.

tell them robots are Russian and/or Chinese.

Your average person won’t care until they are getting fined for speeding courtesy of the delivery robot camera footage.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

This won't happen because nowhere gives a shit about enforcing speedlimits.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

you think so, but enforcing speed limits, parking violation, and other crap is revenue collection.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 weeks ago

At which point why bother going through hours of robocop footage when you could just set up a speed cam?

They are cute.

But they're also police informants which way outweighs the cuteness.

Jus tell them they're robotic pinkertons.

They're covered in cameras and the companies that run them are happy to share the footage with the pigs

The only correct thing to do with these is break them down and strip them for parts

But yes inevitably they have gps sensors and stuff I am sure

Some kids at a college destroyed one, and, stupidly, filmed themselves and sent the video to a big instagram page, Barstool Sports. They got hit with felony vandalism charges. So, just be careful is all I'm saying lmao

[–] [email protected] 0 points 3 weeks ago

They look like you could easily disable them by turning them upside down. Cathartic as it must be to destroy, I figure you could still disable them with less legal risk to yourself.

The whole idea of the seriousness of vandalism charges being based mostly on monetary damage amounts is real fucking stupid. Kicking the side mirror off a lamborghini should net you so much less criminal charges than stabbing the tyre of somebodies shitty 2000 honda accord they need to get to work.

Like if you were the CEO of one of those drone companies why would you not cram as much bullshit in there so everytime somebody kicks the rolling trip hazard they get the book thrown at them?
