Y'all reacting to this with no context or anything.

I'm sure most of us know someone who would 100% give a sticker like this jokingly to their parent, and the parent thinking it'd be a laugh to slap on the car.

I sure as hell do.

So for all y'all know, this is a joke that you arent in on and getting pissed over.

As a selfish daughter, I think this is hilarious tbh.

But I also have a mother who understands and fully supports my and my partner's reproductive choices and I probably would not feel that way if circumstances were different.

Then just make a new kid yourself, mister/missus, and show you daughter how it's done.

And healthcare is exorbitantly expensive.

You mean all this racist objection to common sense healthcare and using housing as an investment vehicle have consequences?

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 week ago

That can't be it. It must be marginalized group's fault. That's the only explanation /s

Even just childcare is super expensive and hard to come by.

I still have no idea how to pronounce Hyundai.

Hee-un-dai?

Hi-un-dai?

Hunt-dai?

Hu-in-dai?

Hin-dai?

The name of the company is the Korean word for "Modernity". It is pronounced like "Yun" with an "H" in front of it. Or "Hun", but with the "Y" from "Yum" after the H.

To the best of my knowledge, there's no English word or phrase that uses this combination. "He Yawn Day" is pretty close, but slur the first two words together into a single syllable, and make it rhyme with "Sunday"

The wikipedia page for Hyundai has a recording of the correct pronunciation.

I usually pronounce it "hun-dai" or "off-brand honda"

Hi-yun-dai is what I've always said, but I've heard that Hyoon-dai is more "official".

Dude I'd love to have kids but I'm fuckin broke with no career. The selfish thing for me to do is have kids anyway and leave them with my parents.

I feel like there are a ton of assumptions being made in this comment section. When I first saw it I thought it was funny and imagined a much more light hearted relationship between that woman and her daughter.

I could see someone (maybe me when we were younger) trolling my Dad by putting this on his car for him to find.

Someone that places a sticker that unaligned on their car can't be a good person! /s
