I gotta head into Richmond in a couple hours to get the car, then drive to the corner of the city near the Royal Melbourne to pick everyone up around 4pm, then hightail it out to the 'Rat.
Google Maps keeps directing me to the hellish Westgate and the inevitable shitshow with the newly flipped m80 intersection. Would it not be easier to take Ballarat Rd, or even Dynon Rd -> Princes Hwy? ๐ค

How come they can make an advanced operating system, but can't make a shoe that doesn't smell.
Fix intune compliance sync. Legit, why is intune complaining a firewall isnt enabled on an endpoint, yet the endpoint says firewall is enabled? Its dumb AF. Also next time I log a ticket for Defender email filtering being rubbish, dont tell me its a "machine learning" issue. Defender sucks!

I should get a major part of a project for work done today and then it's part 2 of valentine's day celebrations this evening
Aww they tried to hide this under the "read more" section on the listing...
$500 a week for a leaky garage and some cooling you absolutely know is not getting fixed anytime soon.
It's T minus 2 days until my landlord can (and almost certainly will) issue a rent increase notice, and shit like this makes me feel I'm better off putting up with whatever they charge here...
Mine went up 80 a week and I just accepted it. Better than trying for something in this market.

Yeah I had one with a non functional gas heater. They wouldnโt even remove it. Thankfully now not legal, but desperate people will accept shit sandwiches
Someone will absolutely take it, it's outer east, finding a place out there is reaching golden ticket levels.
Thereโs one around the corner from me with โwindowsโ made of hessian. No it isnโt a squat, or so Iโm told by those who know about those. Seriously has no window glass.

Anyone else resorting to running the heater in the morning? Im chucking on shorts and a t when i get up, but finding really I want a hoodie and trackies till 10:30/11. So Im just chucking on the heater for halfa. The solar mostly covers it anyway.
I put a beanie on yesterday morning with my shorts and T-shirt. This is how I regulate my warmth in summer. The mornings have been feeling a bit autumnal.

So I've joined the club
A family friend brought over a coffee machine yesterday. He wasn't using it and thought we'd like it. LIKE itโฝ Was so excited for it when the kids sent me a pic of it on the bench.. grabbed some Grinders on the way home and OMG it's like drinking a coffee flavoured cloud!
Now that's a great quality of life addition - great for the wallet too

Yeah, I was a coffee maker (the word "barista" wasn't around when I started) for around 11 or 12 years but always resisted getting a machine at home because cost but also I thought I'd end up being a bit of a wanker about it ๐
