Watching the cross examination of Pamela Smart on YT (channel name is dreading), and I am losing my miiiiind, she is so stupid. Like, maybe, actually stupid. I cannot stop laughing ๐๐
God, I cannot believe people as stupid as her can take someone else's life. Least she'll never be released.
She might have believed her name made her smart.
sadly this psychopath convinced teens to help her commit murder
Aaaand, if you haven't watched it there's a movie, To Die For, with Nicole Kidman of a similar murder case. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snYvuUvm1Ec
Yep, she is a predator who is still victimising her victim. And people ask why she's got life, but the killers are out... BECAUSE THEY WERE MINORS AT THE TIME holy God. She was an adult who abused children to kill her husband, of course she got life and the kids got paroled. Ugh.
I have heard of that movie, but only just learnt about the case since dreading covered it; hadn't realised it was based of a real thing.
And her recent apology video, is not even an apology - so so stereotypical of narcissists and sociopaths to show such empty remorse
Vaccinations aren't on the PBS, getting hep a/b; and whooping cough+tetanus . $110ish.
EDIT: Are you male under 26 who plans to eat a few vaginas in your life? Consider getting the HPV-vax while you're eligible: +1 Vs. some oral cancers.
Sounds like a good investment. Would cost you more to treat either them.
Get the cough one! I didnโt know the one you get as a kid wears off. Very unpleasant lesson.
Same. Misery for months. Not sure if throwing up buckets of frothy sputum for a week or 2 months of cough tickle was worse.
very worthwhile to get these
Hobart is 4 degrees warmer than we are. hrmm.
That should be a federal crime
If the kids go down well enough tonight I think I'll go watch British Lion.
You have to respect Steve Harris' organisational skills to bring his side project along with his main band and play the Croxton one night, then Rod Laver the next. He's been playing stadiums for decades now, so there must be something humbling about playing such a comparatively smaller venue like the Croxton before the big show.
I've been reading a book on Hoarding and watching some hoarding clean up videos and it's seriously making me think about my own tendencies to buy things and keep things.
I do ask myself now before buying if I actually need something , if what already have at home suffices and where would I keep it.
I also take into account if an item makes work. For example, husband wanted a coffee maker, I thought ok, a simple one that's easy to use and to clean and look after since I'm the one who does that. Not one that would take 20 minutes a day to upkeep. Nope,, he wanted one with all bells and whistles . I thought a simple drip coffee maker would suffice but husband wanted the "best". To me best includes how I am going to use it and how it fits into my life as a whole. I bought a press coffee maker which is a little fussy but not too bad.
I'm good at chucking stuff out or giving it away and have given up keeping stuff that needs repairs but takes too much effort. Overall I see it as I have had use out of an item and that is good, now I have no more use. I got my value from it. :)
I'm good with cleaning tho.
I have a rather big collection of collectibles (mostly Uncharted and Goosebumps stuff and Lego, but also some jurassic park things and Indiana Jones) and since the break up and moving into a smaller house I've come to think 'what am I doing with this stuff?' Yeah some is nice to look at, but it's just clutter and start thinking will I have this stuff when I'm 70? What am I going to do with it. So I've been thinking about downsizing and selling a lot of it.
But I ask myself now 'do I need it', 'will it work, etc.
You can have stuff you like too, just have it in display cases so it doesn't get dusty. ๐
