Texas always has to hold back the rest of the country. Muh freedumb.
Work Reform
A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.
Chaff
Ah, so here we have it. The Supreme Douches chance to bring back Lochner (freedom of contract trumps (verb choice intentional) basically everything else, but especially human decency).
Maybe it's time to consider repatriating Texas (to Mexico).
I'd be down with that. I'd have to firesell my shit and move, but I'd do it for America.
Takes Texas away from Mexico. Returns it in worse condition.
Pretty sure we're outside the warranty period at this point, we're stuck with it.
Can we just leave it in the Mexico parking lot and just have them deal with it however they see fit? A lot of Texans already speak some spanish, i’m sure they’ll integrate just fine
we could pull a southern boarder rendition of the great concavity from infinite jest
We've hurt Mexico enough.
